Programme Overview
Hope Summit is a two-day, on-site professional event designed to bring together project-oriented professionals, leaders, and experts in one shared space for learning, dialogue, and collaboration.
Programme Overview
As the Home of Project Excellence, the Summit offers a rich and carefully curated programme with multiple activities running across the two days. The programme combines practical insight, thought leadership, academic contribution, and community recognition—ensuring that participants can engage with project excellence from multiple perspectives.

What the Hope Summit Programme Includes
Practical Programme
The core of the Summit is a practice-oriented programme featuring approximately 30 professional speakers from different industries. Sessions focus on real-world experience, leadership perspectives, and practical lessons learned in project-oriented environments.
Workshops
Interactive workshops provide participants with the opportunity to engage more deeply with selected topics. These sessions encourage discussion, shared problem-solving, and hands-on learning beyond traditional presentations.
Academic Programme
Alongside the practical sessions, Hope Summit hosts a dedicated academic programme with up to 24 academic presentations. This stream supports knowledge exchange between research and practice and strengthens the intellectual foundation of project excellence.
Project Management Championship (PMC) Finals
The PMC Finals bring together top-performing teams (undergraduate students) to demonstrate their project skills in a competitive and engaging format. This element highlights emerging talent and practical competence in action.
Keynote Sessions
Keynote presentations anchor each Summit day (opening and closing), offering strategic perspectives, inspiration, and reflection on leadership, performance, and the evolving role of projects in organisations and society.
Project Excellence Awards Ceremony 2026, South Africa
The Summit concludes with the Project Excellence Awards Ceremony 2026, South Africa, recognising outstanding achievements in project delivery and leadership. The ceremony celebrates excellence, best practices, and the people behind successful projects.
Together, these programme elements create a balanced and engaging two-day experience that reflects the full scope of project excellence—connecting people, purpose, and performance.
